Abstract:
Predicting of CAD severity and PCI outcomes is important to improve health and longevity. BP phenotype recognition is simple and can be easily done. So using it for PCI outcome prediction is crucial and promising. This observational study included 105 participants diagnosed with CAD and were planned for PCI. 24h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring was performed to all patients. Patients were categorized into three groups based on the observed phenotypes of hypertension; 26 patients (24.76%) were classified as white-coat hypertension group, 42 patients (40%) as masked hypertension group and 37 patients (35.42%) as sustained hypertension group. Regarding I outcome, there was no significant difference between the three studied groups . In conclusion, ABPM for targeting WCHT and MHT is crucial , as they are not less than SHT regarding CAD severity and PCI outcome.
