Abstract:
This prospective study recruited 34 patients with muscle-invasive transitional cell bladder cancer from May 2021 to April 2022. All patients underwent maximal transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) and cystoscopic assessment. Patients received conformal hypofractionated radiotherapy using a simultaneous boost with concurrent weekly cisplatin as a radiosensitizer at the Clinical Oncology and Medical Oncology Departments, Zagazig University Hospitals.
