Abstract:
Effect of using reciprocal and self-learning methods on learning fundamental skills for speed ball juniors Introduction and research problem: Speedball is considered one of the sports of digital achievement in Egypt and also one of the most modern racquet sports in which performance requires a high degree of outstanding performance to perform its skills, especially in individual play, which requires a high ability to complete the largest number of strikes in the specified time with the greatest possible speed. This necessarily requires that players and juniors master all the basic skills, as the junior practices speedball skills in a performance that races against time in an attempt to hit the ball with one or two rackets with the largest number of correct hits within a predetermined time. Because speedball skills are difficult skills to learn, especially for young age groups or (beginners), since each skill requires a special method of learning so that the learner can master and learn these skills. Therefore, the idea came to use some teaching methods and subject them to experimentation in teaching some speedball skills, and to measure the effectiveness of these methods in teaching the skills of this sport so that the best of these methods can be judged in learning speedball skills for juniors. Researchers have noticed, through his work in training and teaching speedball, that most of the traditional methods are used in education and training, which affects the level of performance of the skills. Research objective: The research aims to identify: 1- The effect of both learning methods (reciprocal and self-paced) on learning the skills of (ready stance - playing with one racket in the right hand - playing with one racket in the left hand) in speedball for juniors. 2- The percentages of the contribution of the interactive and subjective methods in learning the speedball skills under investigation. Research hypotheses: 1- The learning method (interactive - self-paced) affects learning some basic skills in speedball for juniors. 2- There is a statistically significant difference between the two teaching methods (reciprocal and self-paced) in the post-measurement of learning basic skills in speedball (under research) and in favor of reciprocal learning. Search terms: 1- Teaching methods: Muston defined it as a theory of the relationships between the teacher and the student and the duties they perform, and it is a guide to choosing the appropriate method to reach the goals of the studied transition within the existing options to ensure the compatibility and harmony of the goal with the work. 2- Reciprocal work method: It is a method in which students within one group are divided into pairs to work together, taking turns, one performing and the other observing. The role of the observer is to provide feedback with information regarding his performance and help him determine when he can complete the work. 3- Self-learning style: It is one of the modern methods used in teaching physical education. It gives the learner several levels of performance, each learner according to his abilities according to the degree of difficulty, and gives them the opportunity to participate in the practice and meet their individual differences. Search procedures: First: Research methodology: The researchers used the experimental method using an experimental design for two experimental groups, following pre- and post-measurement, to suit the nature of this study. Second: Research sample: The researchers deliberately selected the research sample from the beginners of the Al-Safwa Speedball Club Academy in the 10th of Ramadan City in the Sharkia Governorate, which is affiliated with the Eastern Speedball Region. Their ages ranged between (12-14 years). The research sample included (50) beginners, from which a number ( 10) beginners to conduct the survey, thus the basic research sample becomes (40) beginners who were divided into two groups as follows: - The first group: It is the one implementing the reciprocal work method and consists of (20) beginners. - - The second group: It is the one implementing the self-learning method (20) beginners. Conclusions: 1- The two learning styles (reciprocal and self-work) contributed positively, but in varying proportions, to learning basic skills for for juniors in speedball.
