Abstract:
1/1 Introduction and research problem:- The task analysis method is considered one of the most appropriate basic methods used in teaching beginners, as the idea of this method is based on analyzing the topic to be learned and putting it into levels, then arranging these levels in a logical order from simple to complex, then helping learners learn each of the levels as a basic requirement for teaching. The next level, and so on, until the learner reaches the subject he wants to learn. Hockey also requires a special basic skill that distinguishes it from other group activities, as most other group activities depend on the ball, but the basic skills in hockey depend, in addition to the ball, on the use of hockey sticks in practicing them. Hockey is also considered a game that requires speed in motor performance and careful observation from the teacher in teaching skills due to its accuracy and many mistakes. Without mastering the basic skills of hockey and learning the principles of each skill, a beginner cannot reach a high level. 1/2 The importance of research and the need for it: - There is an urgent need to raise the level of teaching basic skills in hockey. - The ability to use the task analysis method in teaching hockey. - Improving the educational process and making it more positive. 1/3 Research objectives:- The research aims to design an educational unit using the task analysis method to learn some basic hockey skills for second-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education, Sohag University. • 1/4 Research hypotheses:- • • There are statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-measurements of the control group in learning basic hockey skills for second year students at the Faculty of Physical Education in Sohag as a result of using the command method and in favor of the post-measurement of the control group. There are statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-measurements of the experimental group in learning basic hockey skills for second year students at the Faculty of Physical Education in Sohag as a result of using the task analysis method and in favor of the post-measurement of the experimental group. • There are statistically significant differences between the two post-measurements of the experimental group and the control group in learning basic hockey skills for second-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education in Sohag, and in favor of the post-measurement of the experimental group. Educational mission: It is the basic element of the physical education lesson, and it means what we ask the students to do, including defining the content and anticipating the type of students’ response. Task analysis method: It is a behavioral analysis of the work that the individual must learn in order to build the work required for his learning and then he can build the educational pyramid from the initial requirements to the work requirements Search procedures Research methodology: The researchers used the experimental method using an experimental design for two groups, one experimental and the other control, using a pre- and post-measurement for each group. Research population and sample: Research community: The research community represents the second year students at the Faculty of Physical Education - Sohag University for the academic year 2016/2017, who number (377) students and who study the hockey course within the academic curriculum. Search sample: The research sample was chosen intentionally and its number was (50) students from the total research community. They were divided into a basic sample of (40) students and a reconnaissance sample of (10) students. The basic sample was divided into two equal groups of (20) students in each group. Among the most important results: The proposed program using the task analysis method had a positive impact on learning the basic skills in field hockey under study.
