The aim of the current research is to identify the roles of the electronic educational platform as one of the modern organizational communication methods in supporting the effectiveness of university education and its development, and to bring about electronic social interaction between the educational parties at Zagazig University as a social organization, applied to the Faculties of Science and Arts as a model. The research was based as a theoretical guide on the following theories: social system - social networks - social interaction - symbolic interaction - e-learning. The researcher used the sample survey method applied to a sample of (12.) faculty members in the Faculties of Science and Arts at Zagazig University, and also used the comparison method, and relied on research tools such as the electronic and traditional questionnaire, participation observation, and the statistical tool (Chi-Squre). The results indicated that the educational platform is a modern tool for organizational communication, and the achievement of e-learning within Zagazig University as a social and service organization, and it plays an important role in supporting and developing university education, because it facilitated students to obtain courses easily anywhere, at any time, and the platform helped The results indicated that there are some obstacles that correspond to activating the roles of the educational platform as a modern organizational communication mechanism at the University of Zagazig in achieving its organizational and educational goals in particular. such as technological, material, and educational obstacles, and the traditional organizational culture
