The current study aims to identify the role of the private Sinai University colleges as a service social organization in sustainable development, and to confront the most important obstacles that hinder their roles, and to show how to confront them. It used the descriptive method, the statistical method, the interview and observation form tools, and relied on the theories of social system and modernization theory and role theory. A sample of (180) students was selected from the private faculties of Sinai University for the academic year 2019/2020. The results concluded that Sinai University's private faculties play an important role in sustainable development with its comprehensive dimensions "human, social, cultural, economic, political and environmental." , but there are some obstacles facing the activation of the performance of their roles, such as: technical - research - cultural - human - social In order to confront these proposals, the sample members suggested: supporting the partnership between the university and the local community - the quality of educational outputs - supporting e-learning - supporting and developing scientific research in community service.
