Abstract:
This paper presents analysis and design of high gain, high speed fully differential telescopic cascode op-amp with gain boosting technique. The op-amp is designed for Multiplying Digital to Analog converter (MDAC) circuit of 14 bit 100Ms/s pipelined ADC. The op-amp is designed in 0.18μm TSMC Mixed-Signal CMOS technology with 1.8V power supply. The Spectre Simulation from Cadence shows dc gain of 105.34 dB with 1.44 GHZ unity gain frequency. The phase margin is 74° and power consumption is 7.32mW.
