Abstract:
betic nephropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes. The investigation was conducted as a case-control study in Outpatient Clinic and Internal medicine, Department's Nephrology Unit and Clinical Pathology Department of Zagazig University Hospitals. There were a total of 90 participants devided into Group A: Control group, included 21 healthy subjects, Group B: included 69 patients having Diabetic Nephropathy which was divided into 3 subgroups (23 patients in each group), Normoalbuminuric, Microalbuminuric and Macroalbuminuric groups. Serum adropin, urinaryclusterin and urinary NGAL were measured for all groups. The results of the current study demonstrated that there were high statistical disparities between patient and control groupings in terms of ACR, eGFR, serum adropin, urinary clusterin, and urinary NGAL. There was a significant positive correlation between urinary clusterin and eGFR,. and ACR. There was a non-significant weak positive correlation between ACR and urinary NGAL and there was a significant positive correlation between urinary NGAL and eGFR .There was asignificant weak negative correlation between serum adropin and eGFR, ACR. Sensitivity of serum adropin was found 95.8%,urinary clusterin95.83% and NGAL95.84% but specificity were 100%for all. Serum adropin, urinary clusterin, and urinary NGAL have potential role in diagnosis and prediction of diabetic . RESUMEN. El objetivo fue estudiar la adropina sérica y la clusterina urinaria como predict
