Most research today trends to urge the use of clean technology to reduce environmental pollution pigments and industrial chemicals, and in the field of minimize pollution pigments many of the research trend to the use of pigments natural resistance to ultraviolet radiation and bacterial growth and environmentally friendly alternative to the pigments of synthetic, where lose a big part of tints industrial During the manufacturing stages, this means that daily many tons of industrial dyes find their way into the surrounding environment, causing pollution. The research problem is summarized in the following questions: What is the possibility of extracting phycocyanin dye from spirulina alga? What is the possibility of using phycocyanin dye from spirulina algae to treat cotton fabrics? What is the possibility of improving some properties of the used cotton fabrics in terms of (resistance to bacterial growth, permeability of ultraviolet rays, washing, dry friction, wet friction, and color depth with the phycocyanin dye from the surface)? What is the possibility of using phycocyanin dye from spirulina algae in dyeing cotton and mixed fabrics? Goals Search: protect the environment from pollution by using dyes natural environmentally friendly, determining the most suitable conditions for the treatment of cotton fabrics and blended dye Alvicosyanin of moss Alaspirolina to get the highest specifications of cloth dyed as well as benefit from the treatment dye Alvicosyanin fabrics from moss Alaspirolina in dyeing cotton fabrics and blended. Research importance: Using natural dyes to reduce pollution, maintain human health and the environment, improve the functional properties of cotton and mixed textiles, in addition to reducing the harmful effect of bacteria on bacteria. Research Methodology: The current research follows the analytical and experimental methodologies by applying practical experience to prove the validity of hypotheses and analyze and clarify the relationships between the variables. The research found that there is a significant difference between the type of thread material (100% cotton fabrics - 50% cotton fabrics: polyester 50% - 35% cotton fabrics: 65% polyester) in the achievement of cotton fabrics statistically at a significant level of 0.05. Growth of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, color intensity, wet and dry friction and washing test using phycocyanin dye from spirulina alga.
