Abstract:
Nanomaterials are the foundation of nanotechnology and nanoscience. Nanotechnology is a major multidisciplinary area of research that has been developing globally over the past few decades. Nanotechnology has the potential to revolutionize the procedure through which different products are created and increase their range and nature of function. Moreover, this science has a significant economic impact that will revolutionize the future. Nanoparticles (NPs) are defined as a set of substances where at least one dimension is less than approximately 100 nm. A nanometer is one- millionth of a millimeter, which gives it unique electrical, optical, and magnetic properties [1]. These developing properties have the potential for significant impact in numerous fields, such as medicine, agriculture, and electronics. Some NPs occur in nature but most are engineered according to a particular interest for their use in different commercial products. NPs are widely used in the manufacture of different products such as sports goods, cosmetics, sun- block creams, stain- resistant clothes, and electronics, and in the field of medicine for drug delivery, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Because of their small size, NPs have a greater surface area- to- volume ratio, which ultimately enhances their chemical reactivity and strength [2].
