In vivo investigation of the anti-liver fibrosis impact of Balanites aegyptiaca chitosan nanoparticles

Abstract:
The current study used the ionotropic gelation process to effectively establish B. aegyptiaca/chitosan nanoparticles. Formula features have been displayed. The obtained B. aegyptiaca/chitosan nanoparticles demonstrated greater effectiveness towards CCl4 toxicity-induced liver fibrosis by diminishing histological variations and liver functions, as well as regulating oxidative markers, which may be caused by targeting gene expression for specific genes controlling fibrosis and minimizing α- SMA area, according to the in vivo results.
