Histopathological Impact of Bleomycin on Lung Injury and Development of Mediastinal Fat-Associated Lymphoid Clusters in the Lymphoproliferative Mouse Model

Abstract:
The current study revealed the development of MFALCs following induction of inflammation by BLM instillation, which is in line with other reports. Importantly, we also revealed various impacts of BLM administration on the lung injury progression specially in chronic stages following BLM administration where lung fibrosis and lymphoproliferative infiltration were observed in MpJ and Lpr, respectively. Thus, we postulate that such varied effect could be due to the genetic variations in the degree of immune cell proliferation and the development of LVs and HEVs among the studied strains
