Abstract: |
Children with developmental language disorder suffer from a lack of auditory processing, which in turn is reflected in their expressive language. The current study aimed to develop expressive language among children with developmental language disorder, through a training program based on a brain-based learning strategy to improve auditory processing, The study sample consisted of (20) children with developmental language disorder, their ages ranged between (4.6-6) years, with a mean of (5.28) years, and a standard deviation of (0.53), and the sample was divided into two experimental and control groups, the strength of Each of them is (10) children, and the study tools consisted of the neurological survey test (Arabization and codification: Abdel Wahab Kamel, 1989), Stanford Inter-Intelligence Scale (fifth image) (Regulation: Mahmoud Abu El-Nil et al., 2011), the auditory processing scale (prepared by: Ehab El-Beblawy, Heba Hendawy), the expressive language scale for pre-school children (prepared by: Ahmed Abu Hasiba). (2011), the program based on a learning strategy based on brain work (prepared by: Ehab El-Beblawy, Heba Hendawy), and the results revealed that there were statistically significant differences at (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in expressive language in the verbal measurement. Uday is in favor of the experimental group, and there are statistically significant differences at (0.01) between the mean ranks of the experimental group’s scores in expressive language in the pre and post measurements in favor of the post measurement, and that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in expressive language in the post and follow up measurements. The results of the study recommended the importance of training children with developmental language disorder on a training program based on a brain-based learning strategy, which contributes to improving auditory processing for the development of expressive language.
