"This research thesis objective is to develop a national financial inclusion strategy for the Arab Republic of Egypt. The proposed strategy will be based on the current state of the FI in egypt and will take into consideration the international guidelines of building national strategies extracted from some developing countries national strategies. The proposed national financial inclusion strategy (NFIS) for egypt will target all segments of the population. But, it gives a large attention to certain priority segments ( the most marginalized groups which usually have low level of financial inclusion), namely: women, youth ( age 15-24), low-income people and rural residents. The overall target for financial inclusion in this proposed NFIS is to increase financial inclusion level from 33% in terms of account ownership to 93% by 2030 to support the 2030 vision of the country. The proposed strategy will set the actions needed to achieve the objectives and targets of financial inclusion, the proposed strategy will lead the way through 2019-2021 ( three years) for implementation. The proposed strategy sets a time horizon for actions need to be taken, benchmarks, and responsible entities for each action implementation.
