"This study investigates the impact of the degree of financial and operating leverage on systematic risk of listed companies on the Egyptian stock exchange. To do so, the researcher used the ordinary least square technique and ran a multiple linear regression model using a cross sectional sample of 52 companies on the year 2010. Study results revealed that the first independent variable, degree of financial leverage has a significant positive impact on systematic risk. In addition, the second independent variable, degree of operating leverage has a significant positive impact on systematic risk at significant level of 5%."
