Abstract:
The study aimed to prepare a program based on educational games and to identify its effectiveness in developing oral reading skills among fifth-grade students with reading difficulties. A list of diagnostic tests were applied (oral reading skills for fifth-grade students with reading difficulties, an observation card, and a training program prepared by the researcher) on the study sample consisting of (30) male and female students at Al-Jumhuriya elementary school, Althawra and Alwadi alsharqiu in Abu Hammad Administration in Sharkia Governorate. The study sample ages ranged between (9-10), Average(10.349) and Standara deviation(.385) the data were analyzed using parametric statistical methods such as paired samples t-test and Black's Adjusted Earning Ratio equation. The results showed the following، -There are statistically significant differences(0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the pre and post applications in the oral reading skills test and its total score among the fifth-grade students with reading learning difficulties in favor of the post application. -The program based on educational games is effective in developing the oral reading skills among fifth grade primary students with learning difficulties. -There are not statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the post and follow-up applications in the oral reading skills test and its total score among the fifth-grade students with reading learning difficulties.
