Abstract:
The present study aims to identify the effective of the TEACCH program in developing the linguistic skills on a sample of children with autism. the sample consists of (10) children with autism disorder divided into two groups; experimental groups and control groups aged (6-9) years with an IQ (59-65) on the Stanford Bennet scale version 5. The researcher used a set of tools, mainly: Gilliam s Estimated Scale for diagnosing symptoms and severity of autism, third edition (prepared by: Adel Abdullah, Abeer Abu Al-Majd (2020), The linguistic Skills Assessment for the Autistic Child (prepared by: Researcher) and the Stanford Bennet Version 5 (prepared by:Gal Rued :Arabized and codified by Safwat Faraj). The current study has revealed the effectiveness of the TEACCH program in developing linguistic skills in autistic children. Key Words: TEACCH Program- linguistic Skills-Autism
