prolapse is considered one of the most common causes of reproductive health problem which influences the women's quality of life. Aim of the study: Was to assess women awareness and preventive measures practice regarding pelvic organs prolapse. Research design: A descriptive research design was carried out in this study. Setting: The study was conducted at antenatal care unit in Al-Nahal medical center which affiliated to the Ministry of Health and population in Zagazig city. Subjects: Purposive sample of 450 pregnant women who attended the selected setting. Tools of data collection: Four tools were applied in the current study; structured interviewing questionnaire, pelvic organs prolapse awareness questionnaire, assessment of POP preventive measures practices utilization by studied women and assessment of women attitude regarding Kegal exercise. Results: The majority of studied women had low level of total awareness regarding pelvic organ prolapse and had unsatisfactory preventive measures practices. Conclusion: There was highly significant positive correlation between total women’s awareness, preventive measures practices and their attitude regarding pelvic organs prolapse. Recommendation: Implementation of educational nursing program with a learning booklet for pregnant women should be conducted in order to increase their level of awareness and preventive measures practice regarding pelvic organs prolapse.
