Background: Cyberbullying behaviors represent a major social problem, and cyberbulleying victimization has a strong association with emotional intelligence and self esteem among adolescents. Aim: The aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness of training program on cyberbullying victimization and its association with self esteem and emotional intelligence among adolescents Materials &Methods: Research design: A descriptive cross-sectional research design was used to carry out the first part of the study, A quasi experimental design (Pre – post ) test was used to assess the effectiveness of the intervention on cyberbulleying victimization and its association with emotional intelligence among adolescents. Settings: The study was conducted at the faculties of law and pharmacy at Zagazig university. Tools of data collection: A Self-Administered Questionnaire including the following parts: Socio-demographic data sheet, Wung and law scale for emotional intelligence for youth, Rosenberg self esteem scale, a standardized cyberbulleying victimization scale for adolescents and health education intervention to improve cyberbullying victimization among adolescents . Results: Total cyberbullying victimization was 20.9% in pre intervention assessment and Percentage of students who had high cyber victimization exposure was 95.6 % in pre intervention which decreased to 0.0% at post intervention with statistically significant difference (P < 0.001*) ( n=90). The results also revealed that there was a statistically significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and self esteem among adolescents. Conclusion: pre- post decrease in cyber bullying victimization among adolescents in the study sample which was associated with self esteem and emotional intelligence Recommendations: Training interventions to teach adolescents about the protective actions against the cyberbullying, and follow up programs for those experienced cyberbullying victimization.
