Universities are vital organizations that reflect the nature and reality of the societies in which they are located. Therefore, it has become necessary to shift the roles of universities towards community service in the light of the green economy, to turn into green universities that achieve sustainable development and share with the environment in solving their problems in a better way. The current research aims to present suggested procedures for the possibility of turning Egyptian universities into green universities to achieve sustainable development in light of benefiting from the experiences of green universities in some foreign countries. While the second dealt with a conceptual framework on the dimensions of the global green scale for university ranks 2021, and the third dealt with global experiences of universities that were able to transform into green universities, including Tsinghua University in China, the University of Florence in Italy, Shanghai University in China, and Wagengein University in the Holland, and the fourth axis dealt with a comparative analytical view of green universities with some Foreign countries, and the fifth axis dealt with the reality of the transition to green universities in Egypt, and the study ended with the sixth axis, where proposed procedures were presented for the mechanism of transformation into green universities in Egyptian universities.
