Abstract:
The study aimed to develop the linguistic outcome of children with autism disorder through a training program to improve auditory attention. The main study sample includes a group of children with autism disorder; The study sample consisted of (10) children with autism, whose ages ranged between (5-7) years, with an average age of (5.45) years, and a standard deviation of (0.39), who suffer from poor attention skills. auditory and language impairments, They were divided into two equal groups: an experimental and a control group of (5) children each. The researcher used the following tools: the Stanford Bennett scale of intelligence (fifth picture) (Regulation/ Mahmoud Abu El-Nile et al., 2011), and the Gilliam scale for diagnosing autism (Arabization of Adel Abdullah, 2009). ), and the auditory attention scale (prepared / Bayan Al-Ghalilat, 2018 And the linguistic outcome scale (prepared / researcher), and the training program (prepared / researcher), and the results of the study reached an improvement in the performance of the experimental group on the auditory attention scale after applying the program, and the program achieved positive results in developing the linguistic outcome of the children participating in the program, and the effect continued program positive; The performance of the experimental group members on the language outcome scale was not affected by the passage of a period of one and a half months.
