Abstract:
The aim of the current research is to design a virtual laboratory based on infographic patterns to develop computer maintenance skills among students in the fourth year of the Computer Teacher Preparation Division, by preparing a list of computer maintenance skills, designing a virtual laboratory, and identifying the infographic patterns in the virtual laboratory, which are mobile and interactive. To measure the effect of virtual laboratory design based on infographic patterns on achievement and development of practical skills. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used some descriptive studies methods (descriptive survey and systems development) in the study, analysis and design phase, and the quasi-experimental approach when measuring the effect of the independent variable of the research on its dependent variables in the evaluation phase. The research tools (an achievement test and a note card) were also applied to a sample of (60) male and female students from the fourth year of the Computer Teacher Preparation Division, divided into two experimental groups, each consisting of (30) male and female students. The research reached a set of results, the most important of which are: •The virtual laboratory based on the animated infographic style has a strong impact on developing the cognitive and skill aspect related to computer maintenance skills among computer teacher preparation students. • The virtual laboratory based on the interactive infographic style has a strong impact on developing the cognitive and skill aspect related to computer maintenance skills among computer teacher preparation students. • Both the virtual lab based on the animated infographic style and the virtual lab based on the interactive infographic style are equally effective in developing the cognitive aspect related to computer maintenance skills among computer teacher preparation students.• Computer maintenance skills. Both the virtual lab based on the animated infographic style and the virtual lab based on the interactive infographic style are equally effective in developing the skill aspect related to computer maintenance skills among computer teacher preparation students.
