Abstract: |
The current research dealt with the design of a flipped learning environment based on the interaction between two types of interactive video Cues (animated texts/ animations) and Learning styles (verbal/ visual) and their impact on the development of problem-solving and digital competency among educational technology students. The descriptive approach was used to prepare theoretical frameworks for the research variables, and the quasi-experimental approach to reveal the effect of the interaction between interactive video cues and learning styles on development problem-solving and digital competency among educational technology students, The factorial experimental design (2*2) was applied to a sample of (120) male and female students of the third year, Computer Teacher Preparation Division, Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, It was randomly divided into four experimental groups. The flipped learning environment was designed in the light of the Lee, Lim & Kim. (2017) model, and the research tools were. The achievement test of the cognitive aspects related to the skills of using the SPSS statistical analysis program, The observation card for the performance aspects with the skills of using the SPSS statistical analysis program, the problem solving test, the digital competency scale, The results showed the effective effect of both types of interactive video cues on increasing the cognitive achievement and the performance aspect of the skills of using the SPSS statistical analysis program, As well as developing problem-solving skills and increasing the level of digital competency, It is recommended to conduct research on designing a flipped learning environment based on interactive video cues and linking them to other variables such as the time of giving the cues and the type of questions.
