Research Summary The effect of using virtual reality technology in improving the cognitive aspect of some teaching skills in the distance learning environment for female students of the College of Physical Education * Prof. Dr. Radwa Mohamed Mahmoud Hemmat This research aims to identify the effect of using virtual reality technology in the distance learning environment on some teaching skills of the student teacher. The research sample was chosen randomly from the fourth year students, consisting of (35) students. (15) students were withdrawn for the exploratory study, bringing the total members of the basic research sample to (20) students. The researcher found homogeneity between them in the variable of age and teaching skills. Statistical treatments: arithmetic mean - standard deviation - median - skew oefficient - simple correlation coefficient - "t" test. The most important results: In light of the objectives and hypotheses of the research and based on the scientific procedures related to the subject of the research and the results it reached through the application and statistical treatments, the researcher reached the following conclusions: 1- Learning using virtual reality technology has a positive effect on learning the teaching skills of female students (under research). 2- The virtual reality technology contributed in a positive way to the cognitive achievement of the teaching skills of the female student teachers (under research). Recommendations: In light of the findings of the research, the researcher recommends the following: 1- Using virtual reality technology in teaching the skills of various sports activities because virtual reality technology has improved the results of female students and because of its positive impact on the direct interaction between female students and the educational material. 2- The need for those in charge of the educational process to pay attention to the need for student teachers to have an active role in the educational process, especially in the era of endless and successive technology. 3- Working on the use of virtual reality technology in the educational process because of its positive impact on learning. Activating distance learning using modern digital technologies, as all reference studies have proven its importance at this time
