This research aimed: To identify the effect of repetitive maximum intensity speed and agility training on the development of aerobic and anaerobic capacities and some skillful performances of badminton players.
The researchers used: experimental, due to its suitability to the type and nature of this research through the experimental design of two groups, one experimental and the other control, using the pre and post measurements for both groups, and the researchers chose the research sample: by the intentional method of badminton players from Al-Zuhur Sports Club, numbering (10) players as an experimental group, And the number of (10) players from the Military Production Club as a control group, in addition to the sample of reconnaissance studies from the Al-Shams Sports Club, which numbered (8) players, bringing the total sample to (28) players. .
The extracted data were processed with appropriate statistical treatments, including the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, median, skewness coefficient, significance of differences test (T), simple correlation coefficient (Pearson), and improvement rates.
Among the most important results: The proposed program using speed and agility exercises with repeated maximum intensity had a positive effect on aerobic capacities (maximum oxygen consumption, speed associated with maximum oxygen consumption, pulmonary ventilation, respiratory rate, oxygen pulse, aerobic endurance) and anaerobic capacities (maximum , medium, fatigue index, anaerobic capacity) for badminton players, the research sample, the development of aerobic and anaerobic capabilities led to the improvement of composite skill performances (speed, accuracy, and endurance skills) for badminton players, the research sample.
