Abstract: |
This research aimed: To identify the physical, biochemical, and physiological effects of recovery methods on tennis players.
The researcher used the experimental method due to its suitability for the type and nature of this research through the experimental design of three groups, with a pre and post measurement for each group. (30) players were divided into three groups of (10) players each
The extracted data were processed with appropriate statistical treatments, including (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, skewness coefficient, Pearson's correlation coefficient, F' test, improvement rates).
Among the most important results: the use of recovery methods leads to effective training doses of up to 4: 6 effective doses per week, the recovery methods that depend on active rest have a positive effect on physical, biochemical and physiological variables more than passive rest, the use of recovery methods (active rest, massage manual therapy, reciprocal compresses, and ice compresses) have a positive effect on the physical, biochemical and physiological variables. The use of various recovery methods after training doses, especially the effective ones, protects the player from injury, muscle contractions and stress, as well as protects him from training boredom and makes him more enthusiastic to accept the upcoming training burdens.
