The research deals with the extent to which artificial intelligence creations enjoy legal protection in accordance with the laws of intellectual property protection. The growing use of artificial intelligence systems and the emergence of artificial intelligence programs capable of generating new business has raised many legal questions in various fields, and the most important of these questions are related to the field of intellectual property rights, Is the existing legal situation today sufficient to accommodate the development and scientific and technological progress in artificial intelligence systems and the changes they have brought about in the fields of intellectual property, so that the creations of artificial intelligence enjoy legal protection in accordance with intellectual property protection laws, or does it require legislative intervention to confront these new developments? The research concluded with a set of results and recommendations, the most important of which are: that the conditions for protecting intellectual works and inventions are not met by artificial intelligence creations, and therefore, artificial intelligence creations do not find legal protection in accordance with the currently applied intellectual property protection laws, and that artificial intelligence is still seen until Now as a tool that facilitates scientific research and access to innovations, and more than one criterion can be adopted when considering the identification of the person to whom the creations of artificial intelligence are attributed. Therefore, the Egyptian legislator must enact legislation dealing with the regulation of artificial intelligence creations, or at least make amendments to the texts of the Protection Law Intellectual property to include in regulation the creations of artificial intelligence systems.
