Abstract: |
The use of smart robots does not escape from the presence of risks, as it has many benefits and positives, but this use may lead in practical life to causing harm to others, so it is necessary to know the legal basis that is referred to for establishing responsibility for these damages, and how to compensate for such damages. These damages, on what basis is the responsibility built for the damages of smart robots, are the general rules in the Egyptian civil law sufficient, where the responsibility here arises from the assumption of the fault of the guard of dangerous mechanical objects and machines, or according to the responsibility for defective products, or does the matter require legislative intervention? Amending the civil law texts to meet new developments, and I divided the research plan into three chapters. In the first chapter, I dealt with the nature of smart robots, and in the second chapter the legal problems related to the basis of civil liability for damages to smart robots, and in the third chapter I deal with the problems related to the provisions of liability. Civilian damages from intelligent robots.
The research concluded with a set of results and connections, the most important of which are: the insufficiency of the current legislation to confront the problems that arise from the harmful actions of smart robots, as they need legislative amendments to be made, and that the damages of smart robots must be asked about by the people who contributed to its formation and operation, whether The manufacturer, programmer, owner, or user, and therefore current laws must be reconsidered, as the current civil liability rules do not understand the nature of responsibility that results from human interference with smart machines. It regulates the provisions of liability arising from its damages, and sets principles, directives and legal controls that workers in the electronic fields are bound by when building and operating smart robots.
