The role of educational institutions in raising awareness about climate change Abstract: The study aimed to discuss and analyze the nature of global climate change, its economic impacts on health, agriculture, and development, expected scenarios, proposed solutions, and ways to deal with it. Climate change is one of the most dangerous phenomena that our planet faces, as the fate of more than six billion people on this planet is linked to it, as well as other aspects of life. This has required continuous thinking and hard work from decision-makers to develop effective solutions to confront this phenomenon. The study used a descriptive-analytical method, and by reviewing a number of literary studies related to the study topic, it concluded that global climate change has negative effects on health, agriculture, and achieving sustainable development globally. The study provided some proposed solutions and ways to deal with global climate change through a proposed educational vision for the role of educational institutions, which the study presented.
