STRATEGIC PLANNING TO DEVELOP TEACHERS IN BASIC EDUCATION STAGE IN TERMS OF DIGITAL AGE The current research aims to: identify the common features of strategic planning, digital age, and its reflection on teachers of basic education in contemporary educational thought, and to identify the problems of current reality to develop teachers in basic education stage capabilities, and to propose scenarios for developing teachers in basic education stage capabilities in terms of digital age. To achieve these goals, the research relied on descriptive approach in data collection, description, and analysis, in addition to using SWOT analysis (or environmental survey) as the current research requires an internal survey of strengths and weaknesses and an external survey of opportunities and threats, the current research also relied on the questionnaire directed to basic education teachers to determine the problems of developing their capabilities in terms of digital age. The research sample consisted of 80 teachers and managers on the questionnaire, distributed as follows (50) teachers, (20) managers, and (10) mentors. The research reached to propose three scenarios for developing basic education teachers’ capabilities in terms of digital age.
