The faculties of education are one of the most important institutions responsible for the career development of students, both to improve their careers on the one hand and to improve the teaching profession on the other, so the aim of the current research is to find out how the role of the faculty of education at Zagazig University can be activated in the career development of students. The nature of this research required using the descriptive method and the questionnaire tool, which was applied to an intentional sample of thirty members of the faculty working in this faculty. The research had reached a set of theoretical and field results. Among the most prominent theoretical results are the following: the presence of indicators indicative of the weak interest of the faculty, the subject of current research, in the career development of its students at the applied level, although there are other indicators indicative of their interest in this at the theoretical level. Among the most prominent field results are the following: the tendency of the opinions of the study sample members to approve, to an average degree, the role of the faculty in the career development of students, and the existence of a difference in their opinions on this, and the phrase about the faculty's provision of many courses that enhance students' personal skills and skills related to educational jobs ranked (first) in terms of approval degree with an arithmetic average of (2.33), and the tendency of their opinions to also approve, to an average degree, the existence of several obstacles hindering its role in this field, and the existence of a difference in their opinions on this, and the phrase about the weak interest in providing financial allocations to provide career development services to students ranked (first) in terms of approval degree with an arithmetic average of (2.50). In light of the findings of this research, a suggested perception was developed to activate the role of this faculty in this field.
