The current research aimed to find out how to strategically plan for establishing a center of faculty excellence at zagazig university. The nature of the current research requires using the descriptive method, and using SWOT analysis tool. The research has reached several results, such as the confirmation of the results of the quadrilateral strategic analysis of the reality of university excellence at zagazig university on the university's enjoyment of a few strengths that do not qualify it to achieve its excellence, and its suffering from many weaknesses that negatively affect its achievement, and the availability of a limited number of opportunities that it does not pay to achieve it, and facing a large number of threats that prevent it from achieving it, and one of these results is also the interest of university of north carolina at chapel hill in establishing center of faculty excellence in it. In the light of these results, the current research put forward a suggested perception to create a similar center for this center at zagazig university, perhaps its application contributes to achieving global excellence to it; in order to achieve the goals of the university education sector, included in the sustainable development strategy: Egypt's vision 2030.
