Abstract:
in this paper, a multi-band fractal wearable microstrip antenna is fabricated for integration in telemedicine applications. This antenna is a flexible wearable antenna made from Jeans textile material as a dielectric part. The dielectric features of the jeans textile can be characterized by two various techniques to confirm the results. The conduction part for this antenna is made from tucked copper tape for a completely flexible antenna. Also, the effects on performance characteristics of the projected antenna under bending and crumpling conditions are studied. The presented antenna may be operated in both free-space and on-body environments so, the specific absorption rate (SAR) is studied. The projected antenna is simulated and measured by CST simulator version 2016 and Agilent8719ES VNA respectively.
