The current research aims to identify the relationship between Emotional Labor and Psychological Burnout among primary and elementary stages teachers, and to detenmine if any of Emotional Labor strategies can predict burnout. A total of 164 teachers were assessed using an Teacher's Emotional Labor scale, built by the researcher, as well as Masclach Burnout Inventory (MBI- ES) (by Maslach, Leiter & Jackson, 1996). Results showed no significant correlations between Emotional Labor and Burnout, except for a negative significant correlation between deep acting and reduced personal accomplishment, expression of genuine emotions and depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment, and between the total score of Emotional Labor and reduced personal accomplishment. Regression analysis results indicated that expression of genuine emotions negatively predicted depersonalization, and that both expression of genuine emotions and deep acting predicted personal accomplishment.
