Abtract: The aim of the current research is to study the relationship between the quality of family life with its axes (family interaction - family communication - safety of the family role) and productive efficiency with its axes (domestic work - child care - social performance) among a sample of female heads of household in Sharkia Governorate. The study was conducted on a sample of (304) female heads of household who were chosen in a purposive way, provided that they are married and have children, and using the descriptive analytical method. This research followed the descriptive analytical method. The data was classified and tabulated and the appropriate statistical methods were used through the program Spss, v.20. The results showed the following: The level of the quality of family relations and the productive efficiency of the heads of families in the study sample is limited to the low and medium levels. The results also resulted in the existence of a positive, statistically significant correlation between the quality of family life with its axes and the productive efficiency with its axes in the family, and there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the heads of families in the quality of The family relations with its axes and the productive efficiency with its axes according to the work of the head of the family in favor of the female workers, and also the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the heads of household in the quality of family relations with its axes and the productive efficiency with its axes depending on the size of the family in favor of small families and according to the level of education of the wife in favor of the high educational level. It was found that the axis of family interaction is the most influential axis in explaining the variation in the level of productive efficiency among female heads of household. The study recommends the need for researchers in the field of home management to prepare guidance programs that will contribute to providing the heads of families with new skills that improve the quality of family relations, which contributes to raising their productive efficiency, and that the National Council for Women, in cooperation with home management specialists in various colleges, provide special educational programs for heads of families. Residents in the countryside in order to provide them with knowledge and skills that will reflect on their sense of the quality of family relations and productive efficiency.
