Abtract: The research was conducted with the aim of studying the relationship between family conflict management strategies and marital harmony among a sample of wives in Sharkia Governorate. The application was applied to a sample of (210) wives who were selected in a purposive, purposive manner, using the descriptive analytical approach. The research tools included the wife’s general data form, the awareness questionnaire on family conflict management strategies, and the marital harmony questionnaire). This research followed the descriptive analytical method. The data was classified and tabulated and the appropriate statistical methods were used through the program Spss, v.20. The results showed the following: - The levels of awareness of family conflict management strategies for the wives of the study sample are limited to low and medium levels. - The positive thinking strategy ranked first in the axes of strategies for managing family disputes, with a relative importance of 31.9%, and the axis of marital appreciation ranked first among the axes of marital harmony, with a relative importance of 34.5%. - There is a positive, statistically significant correlation between awareness of strategies (negotiation - positive thinking - overall) and marital harmony among wives with its axes, and a negative, statistically significant relationship between awareness of strategies (negative venting of emotion - withdrawal and family mediation request) and between marital harmony among wives with its axes. - There are differences between wives in the level of awareness of strategies for managing marital disputes with its axes according to the wife’s work - living situation - family size - the wife’s education level - family income, in addition to the presence of differences between wives in marital affinity with its axes according to the housing environment - living situation - the wife’s education level Age difference between spouses. It also turns out that the strategy of negative venting of emotion is the most influential axis in explaining the variation in the level of marital harmony among wives. The Most Important Recommendations Of The Study: - Activating the role of social institutions related to the head of the family, such as women's associations and the National Council for Women, through holding seminars and workshops delivered by specialists in the field of home management to educate female heads of household about positive strategies for managing family disputes. - Organizing training courses for married couples on how to deal with family disputes and resolving them and working to change the concepts related to marital relations by educating each of the spouses about their family roles.
