This Study Sheds Light on one of the Christian sects that lived for centuries in Jerusalem ,the Kurdj sect . Although there were few member of this sect in Jerusalem. it owned anumber of religious places such as the monastery of the cross, The church of calvary and other religious Sanctities.In the late middle ages, to reach aposition of eminence with the sultans the mamluks , to the extent that some other sects demanded equality with them, which is what the study will mention. The study was divided into several points ,who are the people of Kurdj , then moved to the religious places of Kurdj and then touched on talking about the participation of Kurdj in the political and talked about the conflict between Kurdj and the Franciscans over control of the calvary church.At the end of the research , I published and verified the decree issued by the sultan the mumluk Qautbay of the Christians of Kurdj. Which has not been published before and then a conclusion with the most important results of the study.
