The accompanist pianist is the mediator between the author and the listener, as he performs two works at the same time. Duo playing is one of the best ways to train the student to keep time while playing and enjoy the beauty of music as a result of listening to an integrated work in cooperation with his colleague to reach a successful and distinguished work. The research includes the introduction, research problem, research objectives, importance of research, research questions, research procedures (methodology - sample - limits - tools), and previous studies. Research problem: The lack of demand for many piano students to accompany students in the postgraduate studies specializing in singing, due to the difficulty of these compositions in terms of performance, which makes the student perform the lyrical works individually so that the work appears technically incomplete, which made the researcher to address the role of the piano in some compositions Lyrics at "Herbert Bedford" in order to encourage students to participate in these works. The research is divided into two parts: The first part: the theoretical part and consists of: First: The basics that must be available to the accompanying pianist. Second: the author "Herbert Bedford" (his life - his works). The practical side: It includes: First: a comprehensive survey of the research sample literature in terms of their structural composition (title - author of words - ladder - speed - structural length - scale). Second: the musical composition, which includes: - The main ideas and the role of the piano. - Forms of expressive terms and terms of speed. -Performing techniques. - Ornaments. Third: Playing instructions and the suggested finger numbering, due to the absence of finger numbering in the sample. Then the researcher reviewed the results and recommendations, and concluded the research with a list of Arab and foreign references, and a summary of the research in Arabic and English.
