The study sought to identify the challenges and problems faced by Egyptian press institutions in the digital age, and the most important proposals and solutions to meet the challenges faced by press institutions. And the heads of departments and editors.” The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which are: The most important challenges facing press institutions came, the decrease in the resources of press institutions from advertisements, and the decline in government support, which called for press institutions to reduce expenses, wages and costs, and the slow digital transformation, Poor qualification and vocational training of human cadres on the use of modern technologies in journalistic work The absence of job satisfaction among workers, the resistance to complete technological transformation, the inability to keep pace with digital transformation, the absence of qualification and training of human cadres on new journalistic forms and patterns, and the most important proposals were to amend legislation to allow the transformation of press institutions into joint-stock companies that are offered in the stock exchange and financial markets. To provide additional resources for the organization, reduce the number of employees in the organization to control spending, develop the skills of workers to suit the digital age and its developments permanently, qualify and train continuously to hone talents and increase skills, and the need to switch to electronic editing of digital versions, and switch to modern methods and schools of output that suit the new reader, which It relies on modern software in the fields of output and design.
