Abstract:
Intrauterine adhesions (IUAs), fibrosis which lead to partial or complete uterine cavity obliteration could be resulted from any trauma to the endometrium as any gynecologic surgery, abortion infection or even births. Most previous studies have focused on describing Asherman's Syndrome incidence considering all females with IUA who were diagnosed with hysteroscopy regardless of the presence and severity of patients’ symptoms. But the recent hypothesis was to narrow the term of Asherman syndrome and to restrict it to patients with marked symptoms in order to avoid unnecessary surgeries, financial affairs and postoperative complications
