Abstract:
The research aims at to study The effectiveness of a training program based on neuro-linguistic programming to reduce test-anxiety for students at faculty of specific education, Zagazig university. The total sample consists of 37 male and female students at the faculty. The research uses the following tools (prepared by the researcher): a test-anxiety scale and a training program based on neurolinguistic programming techniques. The researcher has depended on the experimental curriculum in preparing and designing the tools with their applications, and in comparing test-anxiety among the study sample— before and after applying the program by using suitable statistical methods: (T) test for both the related groups to identify the significance of differences between the mean scores of the pre and post measure of the test anxiety scale, (T) test for both the related groups to identify the significance of differences between the mean scores of the post and trace measure of the test anxiety scale, and Blacke modified gain equation for measuring the program effectiveness. The results show that there are differences of statistical significance at (0.01) between students’ mean scores in the pre and post measure of the text anxiety scale for the post measurement, and there is no differences of statistical significance between students’ mean scores in the post and trace measure of the test anxiety scale. Moreover, the results manifested the large effect of the program on the test anxiety due to its effectiveness in reducing test anxiety, as modified gain value is at (1.22).
