Citrus fruits are one of the most popular fruits, and their juice is consumed worldwide. Citrus fruits originated in the Himalayas area and the near South-Central China and extended in the Mediterranean basin later and in different periods (Andrews, 1961), finding their ideal conditions for growth in that area.
