Abstract:
In this study, we investigated the problem of estimating the follow-up parameters of the Gumbel and q-Gumbel distributions using record-breaking data. The best linear unbiased estimators (BLUE) method was used for the location and scale parameters of the Gumbel and q-Gumbel distributions. Finally, the usefulness of our result is demonstrated using a simulation study.
