Clothing has a great impact on human health, and there is no doubt that the relationship between clothes and health is a close relationship. The more the clothes are close to the skin, there is an urgent need for a number of health requirements to be met with it, especially since this clothing is one of the indispensable underwear at all stages of life, and the quality of it is measured. Clothing products are able to meet the requirements of use and their ability to provide clothing comfort to the consumer through many psychological and physiological factors. Comfort is a state of satisfaction as a result of a physiological and physical balance between the individual’s clothing and the surrounding environment, and the characteristics of clothing comfort are closely related to the type of material used in the clothing product, achieving Comfort in women's underwear is important for long-term wear and for being directly attached to the body.
Therefore, the researcher conducted this study to examine the characteristics of bras, especially the padded type, to assess the comfort they provide for girls and women, through a survey to find out the most commonly used types by a group of girls and women in Zagazig City. A set of tests were conducted to find out the type of material and the texture of the bras under study and to measure the thickness, air permeability, electrostatics, water absorption time, and the total weight of the bra.
The research found that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of padded bras (padded, push up) in the "thickness, air permeability, electrostatics, water absorption time, and total weight" tests.
