Abstract: |
This research aimed to develop motor balance and its effect on some special physical abilities and the digital level of javelin throwers, such as strength characteristic of speed, flexibility, strength of the muscles of the legs, the ability of the muscles of the arms and legs, and flexibility of the spine, by designing a proposed training program using trunk stability exercises..
The researcher used the experimental method for two groups, one experimental and the other controlling, and the research sample included (30) students from the third year of the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University for the year 2017/2018.
Some devices and tools were used, and the experimental group was subjected to the proposed training program for a period of (8) weeks, with four training units per week.
The extracted data were processed with appropriate statistical treatments, including (the “t” test to calculate the significance of the differences and the skew coefficient, as well as the correlation coefficient, the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation and the median).
The most important results were: that training using torso stabilization exercises led to the development of motor balance and then the special physical abilities of the javelin throwers, such as strength characteristic of speed, flexibility, strength of the muscles of the legs, the ability of the muscles of the arms and legs, and flexibility of the spine, by designing a proposed training program using torso stability exercises.
The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to the development of motor balance, due to its clear impact on improving the special physical abilities of javelin throwers, and that training using trunk stability exercises is an essential part of the sports preparation programs for young people and adults.
