Abstract: |
The aim of the research: to determine the best recovery method (HBOT / cooling) for speed swimmers, The researcher used the experimental method for a sample of (16) swimmers divided into two groups (8 swimmers for the hyperbaric oxygen - 8 swimmers for the cryotherapy group),The research tools include: Restamer Pe 3000 device for measuring height, medical scale, syringes for blood samples, glass tubes for placing blood components and preservatives Edta, medical cotton - Antiseptic alcohol - medical paste, Ice box with crushed ice to place tubes of blood components until they are transfused, oxygen cylinder, regenerator for breathing oxygen with oxygen mask, ice, temperature scale from 10 to 100 degrees, Statistical Analysis: Mean - SD - Skew coefficient - T-test - Variance - LSD test - Percentage Change. The most important results: The use of lactate tolerance exercises leads to an increase in the concentration of prostaglandins in the blood after exertion, and gradually decreases during the recovery period, The method of recovery using high pressure oxygen (HBO2) has an important role in decreasing prostaglandin rates (PGE2), The method of recovery using ice has an important role in decreasing prostaglandin rates (PGE2), Using ice recovery from lactate tolerance exercises is better than relying on oxygen.The researcher recommends: The necessity of relying on prostaglandins as an indicator of recovery processes after aerobic and anaerobic training loads, Using the recovery method using ice because it has an important role in decreasing prostaglandin rates (PGE2), Using ice healing (snow tubs / tubs / ice massage .. and others) for its positive and effective results on the body, as well as for its ease of use and low cost, Increased interest in implementing various hospitalization programs through various pregnancy cycles during the training season.
