Societies are highly interested in university education because it is capable of preparing and training human cadres capable of achieving development in all fields. Therefore, universities in developed and developing societies are striving to achieve competitiveness and excellence locally, regionally and globally, especially in the context of the interrelationship between countries and societies. And the emergence of global villages , Therefore, universities are required today, more than ever before, to undertake a comprehensive and integrated assessment of all its components and components of the system in order to improve their viability and continuity, thereby achieving competitiveness and excellence at the regional and global levels. , However, the reality of many Arab universities emphasizes the weak quality standards in their system and the weakness of their ability to evaluate the comprehensive components of the various, not evidenced by the weakness of the representation of Arab and Egyptian universities in the global rankings of universities; therefore, the current research was based on the descriptive analytical approach to the definition of goals And the philosophy through which the process of evaluating the performance of faculty members in Egyptian universities, The research has led to the identification of a number of results, the most important of which are: the need to create and strengthen university environments that stimulate the creativity and excellence of teaching staff, which leads to the performance of their various roles in an atmosphere of material and moral encouragement for distinguished in all fields of science and thought, as well as the establishment of advanced units to develop and improve The performance of human resources in universities as important mechanisms to ensure how to achieve continuous evaluation , And to enhance the performance of faculty members to their roles according to the best possible level of outstanding performance. The research recommended the need to establish a comprehensive and integrated system, to manage the process of evaluating the performance of faculty members in accordance with the requirements of the university system , And the international standards in the field of evaluation of the performance of faculty members in some of the world's most distinguished universities in the various international classifications. Most of the findings and recommendations have been organized in the context of delivering the research to the formulation of a comprehensive proposal for evaluating the performance of faculty members in Egyptian universities. to use it through its starting points and the requirements of its achievement and its operational mechanisms when conducting a process of evaluating the performance of faculty members.
