Abstract: |
The research aimed to identify the effectiveness of working time management for administrative leaders in sports clubs in Sharkia Governorate.
The researcher used the descriptive approach in the survey method, and the research community includes "chairmen and members of boards of directors, executive directors, activity managers, financial directors, auditors, administrators, members of various committees, members of the general assembly of sports clubs in Sharkia Governorate", and according to the identification of the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Sharkia Governorate. For the year (2012/2013 AD), there are (27) permanent private sports clubs covering all cities of Sharkia Governorate.
Among the research tools: the personal interview - a questionnaire on the effectiveness of working time management among the administrative leaders of sports clubs in Sharkia Governorate.
The researcher used the following statistical methods: Arithmetic mean - standard deviation - Cronbach's alpha coefficient - Ka2 test - simple correlation coefficient - percentage.
Among the most important results: The conclusions of the responses of the members of the research sample to the questionnaire under study in the axis of the individual’s philosophy in time management The effectiveness of working time management among the administrative leaders in sports clubs in Sharkia Governorate is summarized in the axis of the individual’s philosophy in organizing time in that keeping a weekly planner of time shows the administrative leaders how to do the distribution The time during the coming days, and that there is a commitment to the official working times, and a commitment to perform the work on time, and a feeling of anxiety when delaying a specific date for limited minutes, and that the time of their work assignments allows them to accept other additional tasks, and that the tasks are completed on the time specified for them, And that the times when the administrative leader is full of activity and energy to perform his work tasks are determined, and excuses are sought to postpone the work assigned to the individual.
Among the most important recommendations: With regard to the individual’s philosophy in organizing time, sticking to finding enough time to focus on work, and with regard to time management methods, sticking to clarifying the goals to be achieved before starting to perform a task. With regard to organizational aspects, emphasizing the existence of procedures or systems for keeping the necessary records.
