Abstract:
Objectives: Evaluation of results of treatment of recurrent ACL failure patients by the triple technique of re-grafting, high tibial osteotomy, and anterolateral ligament reconstruction Methods: Twelve male patients with recurrent ACL failure had ACL revision plus medial open wedge high tibial osteotomy and anterolateral ligament reconstruction. The mean age was 30.58 years old. The mean follow-up period was 10 months (range 9 – 12 months). Results: All cases regained proper knee stability with full correction of varus deformity. The mean time of osteotomy site healing was (14.83 ± 2.72) weeks with no complications related to osteotomy union or range of motion was encountered during the study. Conclusion: Triple attack procedure is a reasonable one-stage technique to address ACL failure in cases with genu varus without increasing patient morbidity.
