Study’s purpose: to investigate predictors of cognitive function improvement among elderly patients with stroke after rehabilitation intervention. Methodology: A quasi-experimental research was conducted at X University Hospitals. The research group was consisting of 60 elderly patients, chosen deliberately. The X version of the modified Mini-mental state test, digital span, logical memory, and assessment of elderly needs was used to assess cognitive functions. By analyzing the relationship of cognitive functions improvement after rehabilitation intervention with demographic and clinical variables, predictors were established. Major results: The statistically significant independent positive predictors of elderly’s cognitive level 3(MS) were their educational level, income, exercise, healthy diet, and the scores of digit span, and logical memory and the statistically significant independent positive predictors of elderly’s digit span were their gender, residence, marital status, educational level, exercise, healthy diet, and the scores of 3(MS) and logical memory, the statistically significant independent positive predictors of elderly’s logical memory were their gender, marital status, educational level, exercise, healthy diet, and the scores of digit span, and 3(MS). Clinical implications: Educational level, income, exercise and healthy diet may be significant predictors of cognitive function improvement among elderly patient with stroke after rehabilitation intervention
